| ABOUT THE FIRM |
Andrew
Petronio (right) is a principal at KA
Design Group, a design firm dedicated to innovative
design and top-notch service in New York City. A
1991 graduate of Fordham University, Andrew also
holds a degree in Textile Design and Marketing from
the Fashion Insitute of Technology. Andrew Petronio
joined forces with Ken Alpert two years ago, opening
an office at 57th and Madison with a staff of eighteen.
In addition to designing spaces ranging from art
deco to traditional to transitional, Andrew is also
an avid traveler and reader who's most recent trips
include Vietnam and Yalta. Kenneth Alpert (left) earned a BA
degree from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton
School and an MBA from New York University before
deciding to enter the design field. He began his
career by working in a D&D showroom and attending
the New York School of Interior Design at night.
Principal of his own firm for 30 years, Alpert currently
employs a staff of 18. He handles both residential
and commercial projects with concentration on the
former.
